All scenes were animated by Rafael Kaczmarek and beautifully shaded, lit and rendered by director Andy Hopper.
The main shot originally contained a close-up of the water drops being repelled by the surface and a simulation for the rock as the boot stomps down and takes off, but was split up in the edit later on.
A texture based wetmap was used to highlight the change in texture as the water runs off the leather upper of the boot.
